Causes
Mains voltage is not applied
Pump does
not start
Float switch (5) does not switch
Pump pedestal inlet grating
blocked
Reduces pump performance,

Remedies
Check plug socket, cable, line and
plug, where appropriate, have re-
paired through electrical specialist
Bring fl oat switch into higher posi-
tion
Use a water jet to clean the pump
pedestal inlet grating (see "General
cleaning instructions")
Clean pump
Check the backfl ow stop's connec-
tion. Change it if necessary (see
"Maintenance and Cleaning")
Set up pumps correctly on the pit
base
Use a water jet to clean the pump

Clean pump

Remove the backfl ow stop from the
angle adaptor (11) (see "Start-up")
Pull out power plug and clean the
pump as well as shaft
Note maximum water temperature
of 35°C!
