4. Mounting

For EMC reasons, the mounting plate must be made
of an electrically conducting material, e.g. iron.
The two mounting forks, one on each side of the
locking screw, must be fixed, e.g. with self-tapping
screws.

The G 400 module must be mounted on a 35 mm standard
DIN rail (EN 50022). Recommended height 7.5 mm.
The size of the module appears in section 15. Dimensions.

• Mount the G 400 module by first hooking the top of the
module to the DIN rail and then the bottom.
• Fit the terminals and turn the locking screw to position
"locked".
Use a 6 mm screwdriver for slotted screws.

• If the modules are mounted vertically, it is recommended to
fit the end stops supplied to the DIN rail, i.e. below the low-
est module.
