6. Ethernet

Applies to:
• G 401
• G 402
• G 403
• G 404
• G 405
• G 406.
The Ethernet port is used
• for communication between the G 400 modules
and the CU 401 and
• for connection of a service PC for configuration
and fault finding.
To be connected via a RJ45 plug.
If the G 400 is connected to the CU 401 or a PC, a
crossed cable must be used.

6.1 IP address

The modem is factory-set with the IP address
192.168.10.62.
The address can be changed via a PC with Internet
Explorer.

7. USB

The USB port is used to update the firmware in the
G 400 via a USB key.
The USB port supports the USB2.0 standard.
