  • Page 4 Installation and operation must comply with local regulations and accepted codes of good practice. 1. Applications The CU 401 control unit incorporates a back-up battery. The battery powers the internal clock of the CU 401. Note: The battery must be replaced every 3 years.
  • Page 5 • Remove the terminals and turn the locking screw to position "unlocked". Unlocked Locked • Remove the CU 401 unit from the DIN rail by lifting it out at the bot- tom. • Turn the CU 401 unit upside down.
