    The Viluma 5/7 can be controlled either via the TFT display of the microscope or by the ZEN (blue edition) software on the PC. 3. If a CAN bus connection is not available at the microscope and PC control of the Viluma 5/7 is required: Connect the USB connection socket of the Viluma 5/7 via USB cable to the PC.

    4.6.2 USB Connection: Configuring with MicroToolBox (MTB) If the Viluma 5/7 is connected to the PC via USB, the connection type and the type of the light source must be selected manually in the MTB (version 3.8.x or higher) and transferred to the hard- ware configuration.

    3. If used, start the control software (ZEN 3.10 or higher or third-party software). If the control panel is connected, it will be powered via the Viluma 5/7 and is also ready for use. The default brightness setting of each individual LED is 20 % when activating it for the first time after initialization.
