1. General Information CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of your new SEERS MEDICAL product. If these operating instructions are adhered to, the product will provide many years of safe use. How To Use Wheel System (Retractable) Lever DOWN Lever LOCKED DOWN Lever UP Wheels ENGAGED and Wheels LOCKED and Wheels RETRACTED and OFF WARNING! This product is not designed for patient transportation. Ensure wheels are retracted/locked prior to patient transfer or treatment. Disconnect the electric lead prior to re-locating the product, ensuring the lead is not trapped in the mechanism.
Adjustable Foot CAUTION! Ensure Wheels are retracted before adjusting the adjustable foot. Ensure the wheels are retracted and off. Adjust the foot by turning clockwise or anti-clockwise until the couch is stable on all legs. Secure the foot by tightening the nut until it locks against the threaded cap.

Adjusting the Height of the Couch To adjust the height of the couch, simply press the height function button indicated by the symbol, at the top of the handset. Once selected, the graphic in the display window changes to show the Hi-Low function has been chosen.

Adjusting the backrest, footrest & Tilt Gynae Pro – NV8483, NV8583, NV8683 To adjust the backrest, select the backrest function (B) and press the raise or lower button (E), indicated by the symbol, until desired angle is achieved. Once the button is released, the section is locked in that position, ready for use.

Versa Pro NV0495, NV0595, NV0695 To adjust the backrest, select the backrest function (B) and press the raise or lower button (F), indicated by the symbol, until desired angle is achieved. To adjust each footrest, select the footrest function (Right = C, Left = D) and press the raise or lower button (F), indicated by the symbol, until desired angle is achieved.

Extending/Retracting the Leg Rests/Foot Sections (Versa Only) To extend or retract the leg rest, undo the locking knob on the underside of the upholstery until the section can be moved easily. Adjust the leg rest to the desired position. Re-tighten the locking knob to secure the leg rest.

Adjustment of Fold Down Arms (Versa Only) To raise or lower the armrest, simply swing into the up or down position. Adjusting the Angle of the Arms in the Down Position The angle in the down position can be adjusted by rotating the adjusting barrel on the underside of the arm, until the desired angle is achieved.

l. Removable Leg Extension (Gynae Only) To use the extension, simply engage the extension into the receiving brackets and secure by tightening the locking lever on the underside. CAUTION! The Removable Leg Extension is not designed to be used as a seat. Patient weight should not be concentrated on the end of the couch.

n. Leg Supports & Stirrups 1. To adjust the angle of the leg support, loosen locking knob on underside (A) and adjust support to desired position. 2. Re-tighten locking knob to secure. 3. To adjust height of the leg support, loosen locking knob on underside (B) and adjust support to desired height.

3. Cleaning Instructions WARNING! Disconnect the couch from the mains power supply prior to carrying out any cleaning or decontaminating. DO NOT SATURATE PRODUCT! IF THE PRODUCT GETS SATURATED DURING CLEANING, THIS COULD ACCELERATE CORROSION, REDUCING PRODUCTS LENGTH OF SERVICE. General Cleaning To get rid of any dust or marks on the surface the Faux Leather MUST be wiped DAILY with a moist soft cotton cloth.

Stain Removal Blot excess liquid as quickly as possible with a clean 100% cotton white absorbent cloth or sponge. If necessary use clean warm water. Clean the entire area where the spot occurred on the cushion, arm etc. Water may dissolve dirt particles and make cleaning easier.

Frequency of routine couch cleaning will depend on exact application. 1. Ensure the couch is in a suitable area for cleaning. 2. The couch must be OFF the wheels. 3. Disconnect from mains power supply if electric model. 4. Control handsets can be wiped overusing an alcohol wipe. 5.
