Park the vehicle on a firm and level surface.

Taking the motorcycle off the front lifting gear

Removing the passenger seat

Move the handlebar to the straight-ahead position.

Use suitable lifting gear when attaching the steering stem.

Align the front lifting gear with the fork legs.

Always raise the motorcycle at the rear first.

Lift the motorcycle at the front.
–
Secure the motorcycle against falling over.
–
Remove the front lifting gear.

Position retaining bracket

Mount and tighten screws

Insert the ignition key in seat lock
–
Raise the front of the passenger seat, pull it toward the tank,
and take off from above.
–
Remove the ignition key from the seat lock.
