Failure
The Yomper accelerates for no reason
Power loss
The Yomper detaches from the mounting bar bracket
If you are in a highly electrically disturbed environment (high
power medical imaging, etc.), close to an electromagnetic
source, turn off the Yomper.
The Yomper is CEM certified, which means it is immune for use
in a common environment.
Power will depend on several parameters :
• The total weight of the loaded wheelchair,
• Significant elevation changes during your trip,
• Frequency of shutdowns followed by restarts,
• Outside temperature (batteries do not perform as well
in cold environments and can lose up to 40% of their
performance below 5 ° C).
• Tire pressure
Storing the battery in poor conditions (see Storage p.18) can
considerably reduce the life and power output of your battery.
If you experience a loss of power under normal conditions of
use, contact your reseller.
The average battery life is 3 to 5 years depending on use.
Once in place, check that the system is securely locked by
pulling on the Yomper.
Visually verify that the locking hooks retract and snap back into
place on the mounting bar when pressing the Yomper release
lever.
