Ø Options:
·
Allow Multiple Stocks Per Paper Tray – Allows a
customer to enable or disable the "Append" feature on a
tray. If this feature is disabled, the "Append/Remove"
options will not appear in the Stock Setup screens.
·
Display Preferred Trays – If enabled this feature allows
the customer to select a preferred tray destination for
special stock requirements. This can be helpful with
carbonless stock where a vacuum-feed tray is preferred
over a friction-fed tray. Also, pre-printed forms have
preferred trays and orientations. This feature allows or
disallows this designation.
Ø Allow Tray Selection By Queue (Feed Stocks)
DocuSP 3.6 provides a new Queue Manager > Stocks and
Trays option that allows the customer to feed media from a
specific tray as an alternative to specifying Paper Stock.
Enabling the Allow Tray Selection By Queue feature
performs an override to a job's properties.
This feature allows a user to "force feed" from a tray, no
matter what programming is on a job. The key advantage of
this option is to obtain a print of a job without running on
other more expensive stocks. It is also be useful when the
customer simply doesn't have a preference about which
stock a job is run on.
The user can access this option in Setup: Preferences:
Stocks and Trays.
