SN8ICE2K Plus II User Manual 1. Overview The SN8ICE 2K Plus II is designed for the real time hardware emulate which apply to the SN8P2000 series 8-bit MCU. The Emulator provides a reliable and powerful simulation environment for project development. Because of the outstanding compatibility and friendly human interface, the Emulator can provide a convenient development platform for new products. -

2.3 Connecting the Transition Board The SN8ICE 2K Plus II emulation interface provides general I/O ports of all the SN8P2000 series MCU and offers connection interface for different type chips via correct transition boards. That’s the most remarkable feature of the SN8ICE 2K Plus II. -

Vxxx is the version of software. Please follow the steps in this section to install your M2IDE: Download the setup file from SONiX’s website http://www.sonix.com.tw, or contact the local agent for this file. Click the setup file M2IDE_V121.exe, run it (the setup file) and an introduction window shows like the picture below. - Page 10 SN8ICE2K Plus II User Manual Please click “NEXT” button and will show up the figure 3.3.This page is for selecting the installation folder. The installation path is C: \ Sonix \ M2IDE_V121. Figure 3.3 Select directory for M2IDE Continuing to click ”Next” button. Be sure to install the correct oscillator circuit （via the rectangle gap area）before emulating with the SN8ICE 2K Plus II Emulator. The SN8ICE 2K Plus II Emulator provides two types of oscillator clock resource: the RC oscillator clock and the crystal oscillator clock. If there’s any suspicion about the functions of SN8ICE 2K Plus II, user can program and test it. If you found that there really is same problem, Please pass your test program and the emulator to the agent, and SONiX will provide you a satisfactory solution. -
Page 18: Application And Maintenance Notice
SN8ICE 2K Plus II. So it’s strongly recommend using it carefully, especially in case of connecting the AC power to the target circuit board. Please be sure to keep the SN8ICE 2K Plus II away from the miscellaneous element or wire during using, and keep monitoring the abnormal situation might caused by the target circuit board. - Page 19 SONIX product could create a situation where personal injury or death may occur.
