• The manufacturer will not be held

• Two or more people might be required
to install or move this appliance.
Otherwise there might be injury risk.
• Remove all protective sheets and
adhesive tape before using it for the
first time.
• Make sure the room where the appliance
will be installed has the same power
supply voltage as described in the
rating plate and that the power outlet
is correctly connected to an earth wire.
• The assembly and installation must
be carried out by a skilled technician,
who will be responsible for the correct
operation of the appliance in the
installation area.
• You must consider the electricity and
gas regulations in force according to
the local supply companies.
• A qualified technician must carry out
the electrical connection to a power
outlet, which must remain accessible.
If this is not possible or if there is not
a fixed connection, there must be an
accessible
all-pole
device, compliant with all the pertinent
requirements.
• You must make sure you are not drilling
any electrical cable, gas pipe, or water
pipe when you drill holes.
• In order to have a good extraction level,
the extraction hood must be (at least) as
wide as the cooking hob, or even wider.
• Make sure the wall is flat and vertical
and it can bear the weight of the
appliance.
• The screws supplied (if this model
includes screws) can be used for
common constructions (solid masonry).

Note: The manufacturers´ warranty does
not cover any complaint concerning the
duct section.

Note: If your hood includes carbon filters,
you will be able to install it without the air
extraction duct and it will operate with air
recirculation (See image 05 on page 6).
Installation
To begin the installation, check all the
dimensions of the product you have
If the construction is different you
will have to use the necessary means,
which may occur to be different.
• Consider the height of the user when
installing the appliance: the user must
be able to move freely in the area where
the cooking hob and the hood are going
to be used.
• The bigger the distance between the
hood and the cooking hob, the worse
will be the operation of the appliance.
Nonetheless,
the
distances described in this manual
must be kept.
• The minimum distance between the
hood and the burners should not be less
than 650mm and a maximum distance
of 750mm, to obtain the best results.
(See image 03 on page 5).
• Distances greater than 750 mm are at
the discretion of the installer and the
user, provided that the height of the
ceiling and the length of the flue allow
it.
• In some cases, there may be water
condensation because of the place
where the appliance has been installed
(cold places, lofts...). You can solve it by
insulating the duct.
• The bigger the diameter and the shorter
the section, the better will the appliance
function.
• The straighter the duct, the better will
the extraction be. Whenever possible
try not to bend it or crush it.
• The material must be fireproof.
