Chapter 3 Operation Firmware Upgrades You can upgrade one or two VE883A units in your setup using Firmware Upgrade Utility from PCs installed at the VE883AT or the VE883AR’s side. Note: To upgrade both the VE883AT and VE883AR in your environment, make sure they are powered on and connected via a duplex fiber optic cable.
