nPRINTING signal and nHEAD_ACTIVE_IN signal, these are enable signal of thermal
head. When both these signals are L, the thermal head becomes print possible mode.
NHEAD_ACTIVE_IN(P) signal is in addition to enable signal of IC(IC207,208,210).
When this signal is "L", the IC is print possible mode. In this mode, rising edge of
PRINT_PULSE_IN signal is inputted to the PQC IC(IC207), nDREQ signal that
indicates print data receiving able condition that is outputted to the IF-687 board, DMA
transmission of first data is received. If the rising edge of next PRINT_PULSE_IN is
inputted to the PQC IC, nHEAD_ACTIVE_P and nPRINT_PULSE_P signal are outputted to
the next stage head drive IC(IC208),the first line data is processed the image,
nPRINT_DREQ signal from next stage head drive IC is waited for DMA transmission.
The head driving IC(IC208) received the PRINT_PULSE_P signal from PQC IC(IC207)
and outputted nPRINT_DREQ signal. After that, eight bits print data of one line separation
DMA transmission with synchronized PRINT_DCK from PQC IC is received.
Next PRINT_PULSE_P signal is inputted, therefore, as serial data of eight port, shift clock
(HEAD_CK),data latch output(HEAD_LATCH) and strobe output(HEAD_STRB) are also
transmitted to the thermal head. Parallel with DMA transmission of second line data is also
received.
As described above, the first line data is synchronized to second PRINT_PULSE_IN signal
and transmitted to head driving IC. It is transmitted to the thermal head with synchronized
third PRINT_PULSE_IN signal. The PRINT_PULSE_IN signal is inputted to PQC IC with
two more than truly print line number.
