MDI/MDI-X autocrossover
With the MDI/MDI-X autocrossover function, the Ethernet port automatically selects the correct
assignment MDI or MDI-X. The port is thus independent of the assignment of the connected
device (MDI or MDI-X) and the cable used (crossed or uncrossed). This makes installation much
easier for the user.
