Place the xenon lamp in its protective container or wrap the xenon lamp in a protective cloth and secure
with two binders.

Remove the anode wire lug (reference 6 Image 4–13) from the anode socket as illustrated. Use a 8mm
Allen wrench.
Tip: Place the flat washer and bolt (reference 7 & 8 Image 4–13) back on its place after the lug is
removed.

9.
Remove the cathode adapter from the xenon lamp by releasing the hexagon socket head cap screw
(reference 9 Image 4–14) of the adapter as illustrated. Use a 5mm Allen wrench.
Note: Some xenon lamps have a cathode pin with screw threat (reference 10 Image 4–14).
