Overriding the speed
You can press the accelerator pedal down to
increase your speed, for example if you want
to pass someone. The speed you saved earlier
will resume as soon as you release the acceler-
ator pedal.
If, however, you exceed your saved speed by 5
mph (10 km/h) for longer than 6 minutes, the
cruise control turns off temporarily. The

Preselecting the speed

You can preselect your desired speed when
the vehicle is stationary.

The speed you stored w ill be retained if the
cruise control has been switched off tempora-
rily . To resume the stored speed, release the
brake pedal and pull t he lever into position
CD .
The stored speed is erased when the cruise
control is switched off complete ly or the igni-
t ion is switched off.
