To restore the balance of energy, components
that require large amounts of energy are tem-
porarily sca led back or switched off . Heating
systems in particu lar require a great deal of
energy. If you notice, for example, that the
seat heating* or rear window defroster is not
working, then it has been temporarily reduced
or sw itched off. These systems are available
again as soon as the energy ba lance has been
restored.
In addition, you may notice that the idle
speed has slightly increased . That is normal
and no cause for concern . Due to the in-
creased idlin g speed, the additional req uired
energy will be generated and the battery will
be charged.
