jury if the side curtain airbag inflates.
- A deploying airbag inflates in a fraction
of a second and with great force .
- Never attach objects to the cover or in
the deployment zone of a side curtain
airbag .
- The airbag dep loyment zones must be
kept clear at all t imes. Make sure there
are no objects, pets , or other persons in
the space between any vehicle occupant
and any airbag at any time.
- Do not attach any accessor ies to the
doors.

WARNING
- The airbag system can deploy only once .
If the airbag has been trigge red, the sys-
tem must be replaced by a n author ized
Audi dealer or qua lified workshop.
- Always have work involving the side cur-
tain a irbag syst em, remova l and installa-
t ion of the airbag compo nents, or other
repai rs performed by a qualifie d dealer-
ship . Othe rwise the airbag system may
not work correctly.
- Never at tempt to modify any compo -
nents of the air bag system in any way.
