04 SYSTEM CONTROL
Read all the safety and general instructions. Failure to observe the
safety and general instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
The term charger is used in these instructions to mean all original Kynamic
chargers from the system generation. The term eBike battery is used in these
instructions to mean all original Kynamic eBike rechargeable battery packs from
the system.
WARNING - When using the Kynamic Unit-e system, the following
basic precautions should always be followed:
• Read all the instructions before using the product.
• To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the product is
used near children.
• Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
• Do not use this product if the flexible power cord or output cable is frayed, has
broken insulation, or any other signs of damage.
• All the component leads shall use original components.
• This equipment is not intended to be used at ambient temperatures less than
-10°C (14°F) or above ambient temperatures of 60°C (140°F).
• Do not immerse the product or any e-system component in water. The
penetration of water into the charger could cause electric shock.
• Do not place the product or any e-system component near fire or heat.
• Always turn off the eBike system and remove the battery before installing,
disassembling or modifying any components on the eBike.
4.2 Product Warnings
INFO - This product manual is intended primarily for the User to
have the knowledge of the good and safe operation with Kynamic
Unit-e System.
INFO - Users who are not professionally trained for bicycle
assembly should not attempt to install, disassemble or modify the
components themselves.
CAUTION - If you replace the bolts required to secure the
battery in the frame, ensure you contact your Whyte retailer for
replacement screw specifications.
Maintenance and cleaning
If the charger fails, please contact an authorised Whyte bike retailer.
Clean the charger using a dry cloth.
After-sales service and advice on using products
If you have any questions about the eBike and its components, contact an
authorised Whyte bicycle retailer.
