Setting Oven Controls
Important
Things to Know
Before
Setting any Basic Oven Cooking Function
This appliance
has been
factory
pre-set
to start
any
BAKE,
CONV
BAKE,
CONV
ROAST,
PREHEAT,
CAKES
or BREADS
function
with
the oven
set temperature
automatically
set for 350°F.
However
if desired,
the oven
set temperature
may
be
adjusted
at any
time
during
the cooking
process.
You may
also choose
to add
a COOK
TIME
or DELAY
START
with
any
of
the functions
listed
above.
Temperature
Visual
Display
Your oven
is equipped
with
a temperature
visual
display.
When
a cooking
mode
is set, the actual
temperature
will
be shown
in the display
and
will
rise as the unit
preheat.
When
the unit has reached
its target
temperature,
a chime
will
sound
to re-
mind
you to place
the food
in the oven.
This feature will
be active
with
some
cooking
modes;
bake,
convection
bake,
convec-
tion
roast,
cakes
and
breads.
NOTE:
The lowest
temperature
that
can
be displayed
is
100°F.
Using the AirGuard
feature
(some models)
Your
appliance
is equipped
with
a catalytic
oven
exhaust
cleaner
that
may
be turned
on during
any
cooking
process.
This
feature
helps
remove
smoke
and
eliminates
85%
of the odors
generated
when
using your
oven.
DO
NOT
use AirGuard
when
baking
delicate
bakery
items.
Air_
If you wish
to have
AirGuard
clean
the oven
exhaust
once
cooking
has started,
press
Guard.
Note: The AirGuard
indicator light wiii glow anytime
AirGuard
is active. AirGuard
wiii automatically
turn on and cannot
be
manually
turned off: during the Seif-Cieaning
cycle.

Pre
The L2ZZJ pad
controls
normal
baking.
If preheating
is necessary,
refer
to the Heat Preheat
Feature
for instructions.
The oven
can
be programmed
to bake
at any
temperature
from
170 ° F to 550 ° F (77 ° C to 288 ° C).
INSTRUCTIONS
PRESS
To set the Bake Temperature
to 350°F
1.
Arrange
interior
oven
racks
and
place
food
in oven.
Upper

Press Oven.
Ovetl

Press 8,
"350"
will
automatically
appear
in the display
(Fig. 1).

Press _.
The actual
oven
temperature
Wi" be displayed
(Fig. 2).
A beep
wiil sound
once
the oven
temperature
reaches
350 ° F.
Pressing
(_)
will
cancel
the Baize feature
at any time.

Pressing

cancel
the Baize feature
at any time.
To change the Bake Temperature
(example:
changing from
350 ° to 425°F)
1.
After
the oven
has already
been
set to bake
at 350°F
and
the
oven
temperature
needs
to be changed
to 425°F,
press [_.
Press 4 2 5. "425 °" wiii
appear
in the display
(Fig. 3).
Press _(_.
The actual
oven
temperature
wiii
be displayed
(Fig. 2).
A beep
wiii sound
once
the oven
temperature
reaches
"425 °''.

Note:
If the oven was recently
heated
from prior cooking
and has remained
heated, the baize element
symbol
may not show
in the display
immediately.
Note:
During
the first
rise of temperature,
the convection
fan will be activated
to allow
the oven to reach
its target
temperature
faster.
The bake, broil and convection
elements
will cycle to allow
a better
heat distribution.
