Blasting Dry Ice

For optimum performance:
Position the machine and blast hose to prevent kinking and allow for maximum maneuverability.

Hold the nozzle perpendicular to and about 2 – 6 inches (5 cm to 15 cm) from the article being
•
cleaned.
To find the optimum feed rate: start at 0 and gradually increase until the desired cleaning result
•
and/or cleaning performance is achieved.
1. Use the rotary encoder dial, navigate to the
feed rate icon
activate. The button will be green and active.
2. Adjust the feed rate to the desired setting and
press the dial once.
3. Use the rotary encoder dial, navigate to the
blast pressure icon
once to activate. The button will be green and
active.
4. Adjust the blast pressure to the desired setting
and press the dial once.
5. On the applicator, press the Air+Ice button (II)
once. The green LED indicator light is ON. This
will activate the applicator.
6. It is recommended to start blasting next to the target (but in a safe place) and move onto the target.
7. Move the nozzle back and forth keeping it perpendicular to the surface being cleaned.
8. Monitor the trough level and reload blocks or dry ice pellets when the trough is empty.
