Blasting Dry Ice

For optimum performance:
Position the machine and blast hose to prevent kinking and allow for maximum maneuverability.
•
Hold the nozzle perpendicular to & about 2 – 6 in (5 cm to 15 cm) from the article being cleaned.
•
To find the optimum feed rate: start at 0 and gradually increase until the desired cleaning result
•
and/or cleaning performance is achieved.
1. Adjust the feed rate knob to the desired setting.
2. It is recommended to start blasting next to the target (but in a safe place) and move onto the target.
3. Move the nozzle back and forth keeping it perpendicular to the surface being cleaned.
4. Monitor the trough level and reload blocks when the trough is empty.

Shutting Down the Machine

1. Push the power switch to the OFF position.
2. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
3. Turn off the compressed air supply.
4. Turn the air bleed knob on the right
side of the machine to the vertical
(open) position.
5. Wear gloves and open the lid.
6. Push the pusher plate all the way to the right.
7.
Remove the remaining dry ice from the trough.
8.
Close the lid.
9. Disconnect the blast hose control cable.
10. Hang the applicator on the hook on the left side of the machine.
