RECORDING A TV PROGRAMME WHILE WATCHING IT
| Basic concept: receive the desired TV programme |
with the tuner and operate the recorder for recording.

or a camera connected.
PAUSE button

Hl Switch on the TV receiver.
@ Adjust the TV receiver's channel to your video
channel. (For video channel setting, refer to page 10
of the instruction manual for the HR-S10EG/EK.)
Press POWER/BETRIEB.
Notes:
© {f there is part of the programme you don't want to
record, press the recorder's PAUSE button. To cancel
the Pause mode, press the PLAY/WIEDERG. button.
The Pause mode is released automatically after about 5
minutes in order to prevent tape damage and the Stop
mode is engaged.
Set INPUT SELECT/EINGANGS-WAHL to TV.
EA Load a cassette.
& Select the channel you wish to record.
@ Press
REC/AUFN. and PLAY/WIEDERG. simul-
taneously to start recording.
Press STOP at the end of the programme.

@ The tuner's automatic channel lock mechanism prevents
the selected channel from being altered during record-
ing. Therefore, if you wish to change the channel
during recording, first engage the Pause mode and then
select a different channel,
