Procedure
1. Set the recorder's RF output channel adjustment screw
correctly. (Refer to VIDEO CHANNEL SETTING on
page 10 of the instruction manual for the HR-S10EG/
EK.)
2. Remove the aerial cable from the TV receiver and re-
connect to the TU-S10EG/EK as illustrated. The TU-
S10EG/EK is then ready to receive off-air programmes.
3. Connect the TU-S10EG/EK to the TV receiver using
the aerial cable (provided with HR-S10EG/EK). The
TV receiver is then ready to receive TV broadcast pro-
grammes.
@ In this state, the recorder can be connected or dis-
connected anytime at will. Before connecting or dis-
connecting the recorder from the tuner, make sure that
the recorder's POWER/BETRIEB button is in the OFF
position.

When the recorder is connected to the tuner via their
exclusive Connectors, the combination records off-air
programmes and the TV receiver accommodates video
cassette playback.
CAUTION
Even when you are not using the TU-S10EG/EK, the
rear panel MAIN POWER/NETZ switch should be set
to ON/EIN in order to be able to view TV broadcast
programmes with the illustrated connection.
