The digital compass only works when the ign i-
tion is on. The directions are indicated with
abbreviations:

E
(east), SE (southeast), S (south), SW (south-
west), W (west), NW (northwest).

Calibrating the compass

You must recalibrate the compass if it does
not display the correct direction.

.. Drive in a circle at about 6 mph (10 km/h)
until a direction is displayed in the rearview
m irror.
