7. Keep the fan bracket.
Replacing a system fan cable in the 9006-22P
To replace the fan cables in the system, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Note the orientation of the fan cable to the fan bracket as shown in Figure 37 on page 43. The wire
colors from front to back are: black, red, yellow, then blue. Connect the fan cable in the bracket by
pinching the tabs then pushing the fan cable into the bracket.
