Gas Connection
WARNING
Make sure the gas supply valve is off and that the powell to
Bare wire the range is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box prior
connections to connecting the gas line.
Do not apply excessive pressure when lightening gas
connections and fittings.
Do not use lefion tape or plumbers putty on gas flex line
connections.

spade terminal For LP installations, the LP gas tank must have its own
connections high pressure regulator. This is in addition to the pressure
regulator provided with the range.
The maximum gas supply pressure to the regulator must
never exceed 1/2 pound per square inch (0.s 1.) or 3. 5kPa.
L1 terminal Ihe range and shuLoff valve must be disconnected from the
NY 2 Gas supply piping during any pressure testing exceeding 1/2
psi (3.5 kPa).
The range must be isolated from the gas supply piping by
closing the shutoff valve during any pressure testing at or
below 1/2 ps1 (3.5 kPa).
Check all gas lines for leaks as instructed lo avoid a fire or
explosion hazard Do nol use a flame to check for leaks.

NOTE: The gas pressure regulator is pre-set at the factory for
the type of gas intended for use with the appliance. To verify that
L1 wire the appliance is compatible with the type of gas available, check
White wire the range rating label (see page 3 for location). Ranges intended
for use with LP gas will have "LP" as a part of the model number.
L2 wire Consult your dealer if the range is not compatible with the type of
gas supplied.
Before sliding the range into the cabinet:
1. Make sure the gas supply valve is in the off position and that
power to the range is off.

2. Connect a flexible gas supply line to the gas shut-off valve
previously installed on the stub out. The gas line needs to be
long enough to allow the range to be pulled out for service.

Remove the gas regulator access cover.
Slide the end of the gas line under the back cover into the
regulator compartment from the bottom.
Connect the gas line to the regulator.
Turn all cooktop control valves to the "OFF" position. Turn on
the gas supply.

7. Check all lines and
