For Models ER36D and ER48D, put the knobs with the words “MAX GRIDDLE” on them on the inner (center burner) valve shafts. For ER30D, place the “MAX GRIDDLE” knobs in the 2 right hand valve shafts. Put the remaining knobs on the remaining valve shafts.

STEP 12: Open the oven door to the horizontal position. STEP 13: On model ER30D and ER48D, to prevent damage to the door glass and door: Firmly tape or clamp both sides of the door three (3) inches from the top to prevent it from coming apart when the handle screws are removed.

STEP 20: Thread the two (2) screws through the door and into the handle. Tighten them into place. Do not overtighten. Damage to the door or the door glass may result. STEP 21: On model ER36D: Replace the screw covers. STEP 22: Remove the clamps or tape from the door.
