Auger Drive Belt Tension
IMPORTANT:
To prolong drive life, de:>

over-
tighten
belt. Belt
slippage is used
to
protect
the
auger in an
overload
situation.
NOTE:
Minor belt
tension
adjustments
may
be
made
without
affecting
chain
tension.
For
major
adjustments
,
like after repositioning

or
auger,
adjust
chain
tension
before belt
tensicm.
To adjust
auger drive
belt
tension
:
1.
loosen
nuts
(P)
one
or two
turns.
2.
Back
off
jam
nut
(R)
,
then turn
nut
(S) to
adjust hook
bolt
until a force
of:
