Multi Pick-Up Roller
1)
Lift the open/ctose
lever to open the
body.
2) Place one sheet of copy paper (A4) in
the feeding path.
3)
Keep the separation pad down, and
wipe the multi pick-up roller with a cloth
moistened with alcohol or water* while
rotating the multi pick-up roller in the
direction of pick-up.
"Be sure to wring it well.
1. Do not touch the photo sensitive
drum.

Do not make copies until the multi
pick-up roller has dried compietely,

Wipe the feeding belt while moving it in
the direction of the arrow with a cloth
moistened
with water; be sure to wring
the cloth well.

Remove the ADF from the copier. (See
IX. of CHAPTER 4 for the steps to fol-
low.)
Detach the separation pad cover using a
coin or the like.
