3) After making the adjustment, record the
new setting on the service label attached
behind the control panel.

4) After making the adjustment, execute
user mode 'U7'. (This step applies only if
the machine is equipped with the drum
unit replacement time automatic indica-
tion function.)
12. Adjust the Original Leading Edge
Stop Position
You must first correct original skew and
adjust the rear/front original stop position
before adjusting the original leading edge
stop position.
1) Obtain a sheet of A4 or LTR white copy
paper, and draw two lines as indicated.
* The sheet will be used as a test chart.

2) Remove the screw, and remove the ADF
controller cover.

3) Turn on the copier, and place the test
chart prepared in step 1) on the original
tray.
