4) After making the adjustment, execute
user mode 'U7''. (This step applies only if
the machine is equipped with the drum
unit replacement time automatic indica-
tion function.)
9. Measurement Current Correction for
APVC
Make this adjustment whenever you
have replaced the following:
* DC controller PCB
* composite power supply PCB
Making Adjustments
« After Replacing the DC Controller PCB
1) Select '35' in service mode; then, using
the +/- key, enter the setting 'IP_ADuJ'
recorded on the service label attached
behind the control panel, and press the
AE key.
¢ The setting may be between 0 and 30.
* The default is 15.
2) Turn off and then on the copier.
° After Replacing the Composite Power
Supply PCB
1) Select '35' in service mode; then, using
the +/- key, enter the setting 'IP_ADJ'
recorded on the service label attached to
the composite power supply PCB in the
count/ratio indicator, and press the AE
key.
« The setting may be between 0 and 30.
* The default is 15.
2) Turn off and then on the copier.
3) Record the new setting under 'IP_ADJ'
on the service label.

10. Reproduction Ratio Fine Adjustment
Make this adjustment whenever you
have replaced the following:
* DC controller PCB

1) Select '36' in service mode; then, using
the +/- key, enter the setting 'LENS_ADJ'
recorded on the service label, and press
the AE key.
« The setting may be between 0 and 30.
* The default is 15.
2) Turn off and then on the copier.
11. Pre-Exposure Lamp Output
Adjustment
Make this adjustment whenever you
have replaced the following:
* DC controller PCB
¢ Pre-exposure lamp

¢ After Replacing the DC Controller PCB
1) Select '37' in service mode; then, using
the +/- key, enter the setting '"PREX_LP"
recorded on the service label, and press
the AE key.
* The setting may be between 0 and 99.
° The default is 50.
2) Turn off and then on the copier.
3) After making the adjustment, execute
user mode 'U7'.
* After Replacing the Pre-exposure lamp
1) Select '37' in service mode; then, using
the +/- key, enter the setting recorded on
the label attached to the replaced pre-
exposure lamp, and press the AE key.
° The setting may be between 0 and 99.
* The default is 50.
2) Turn off and then on the copier.
