PERIODIC SERVICE POINTS
1. Cylinder fins
The dusts between the fins of the cylinder of the engine overheating marry. Periodically check and
clean the cylinder fins after removing the air filter to properly cover and cylinder. When installing the
cylinder cover, make sure that switch wires and grommets have been properly in place.
NOTE
Be sure to cover the air intake before starting this work.
2. Fuel filter
(a) Using a wire hook, remove the filter from the filler neck.
(b) Sand trap filter and wash all parts with gasoline. Replace with a new filter if necessary.
NOTE
After removing the filter, use a clamp to hold the end of the suction tube.
When mounting the fuel filter, work carefully to keep out dust or fibers in suction
tube.
3. Oil tank
Drain the oil tank and clean the inside with gasoline.
4. Plug
Clean the electrodes of the spark plug using a wire brush.
Verify that the separation between electrodes is 0.6-0.7 mm
and make adjustments as necessary.
5. Gear
Examine the gear for any signs of cracks or excessive wearing a hat may affect the movement of the
chain. If there is an obvious wear, replace the sprocket. Never fit a new chain on a worn sprocket, or
a worn chain on a new sprocket.
6. Front and rear shock absorbers
Change these parts when the parts adhered are separated or when observed cracking in the rubber
part. Replace if the inside of the metal rear shock if it is beaten by the bolt and if the game of the
metal is increasing.
