USING THE SAW
Before starting the task, read the "safety standards". It is recommended cutting easier trunks. This
also helps you become familiar with the unit.
Always follow the safety rules. The product should be used only for cutting wood. It is forbidden
to cut other materials. The vibrations and recoil are different and safety requirements would not be
respected. Do not use the product as a lever to lift, move or break objects. Do not use the product if
there is any object between this and the working surface. It is forbidden to apply to the PTO of the
product tools or applications that are not specified by the manufacturer.
NOTE
It is not necessary to force the saw into the cut. Apply only light pressure while
running the engine at full speed.
If the saw chain is caught in the cut, do not try forcing it out. Use a wedge or a
lever to open the cut.
PROTECTION AGAINST KICKBACK
This product is equipped with a chain brake which stops the movement of a chain in the case of
a reversal occurs during operation. Check operation of chain brake before starting long usage by
the engine to full speed for 1 or 2 seconds and pushing the shield forward. The chain should stop
immediately with the engine running at maximum speed. If the chain is slow to stop or does not stop,
replace the brake band and clutch drum before using the unit.
It is extremely important to verify the operation of chain brake before each use of the chainsaw. Also
verify that the teeth are sharp in order to maintain the risk of backlashes within safe limits. If you are
removed safety devices, if maintenance is not performed correctly or if the bar or chain are replaced
incorrectly, increases the risk of personal injury from kickback.

1. Decide the direction in which crashes the tree, taking into account wind direction, the
inclination of the tree, the location of heavy branches, ease of the tasks one after felling and
other related factors.
2. Clean the area around the tree, have a good footing and a safe escape route.
