H and L needles (high and low) are restricted in number of turns, as shown below.
Needle "H" - ¼
2.
Start the engine and leave heating on medium speed.
3.
Turn the adjustment screw idle (T) to the left so that the chain does not move the greencut.
If the idle speed is too low, turn the screw clockwise.
4.
Make a test cut and adjust the needle H (high) for greater cutting power, not for maximum
speed.
CHAIN BRAKE
This equipment is equipped with an automatic brake that stops the rotation of the saw chain when a
kickback occurs during the operation of this. The brake is actuated automatically due to the inertia.
You can manually operating the brake by pushing the front hand guard towards the side of the guide
bar. It can be operated manually by pushing the brake shield to the side of the handle.
WARNING!
Be sure to check the brake operation when performing routine inspection.
VERIFICATION METHOD:
1) Stop the engine.
2) Hold horizontally chain saw with two hands, release the hand of the front handle, hit the tip of
the guide bar against a stump or something similar, and check that the brake is working properly. The
height of operation depends on the size of the bar.
(3) If the brake is not working properly, request an inspection and repair your dealer. Avoid running
the engine at high speed with the brake engaged as this results in heats the clutch and failure of
product.
ANTIFREEZE MECHANISM CARBURETOR:
This system avoids the carburetor freezing could occur during sawing in cold weather. When stopped
or slowed suddenly saw, use the system as follows.
1.
Remove the air filter cover, the air filter and the muffler.
2.
Remove the door provided in the rear wall of the cylinder cover and invert it.
3.
Install the covers as they are.
WARNING!
Never use this system in normal conditions of temperature, as this may cause boot
failures caused by overheating of the carburetor.
STOP THE ENGINE
1.
Release the throttle lever and leave the engine running at idle speed for a few minutes.
2.
Place the switch in position "O" (STOP).
