10. Keep away all body parts from the chain while the engine is running.
11. Before starting the engine, make sure the chain is not contacting with some other object.
12. Carry the product only while the engine is off, facing the guide bar and chain back and
keeping the exhaust away from the body.
13. Before each use, examine carefully the chain of the product in search of worn, loose
or damaged parts. Never use the chainsaw if it is damaged, improperly adjusted or not
completely and securely assembled. Check that the chain stops moving when you release
the throttle control trigger.
14. All services of the saw, except the indicated in the list of the user manual, must be
performed by a professional service. (If using improper tools to remove the flywheel or if it is
to disassemble the clutch holding the wheel with a tool incorrectly can structural damage in
it, which in turn could later lead to the disintegration of the wheel).
15. Make sure to turn off the engine before lowering the chainsaw.
16. Work carefully when cutting shrubs. The brittle material of these can be caught in the chain
of the product and fly to the operator or produce a pull that can cause it to lose balance.
17. When cutting a limb that is under tension, be prepared to jump back to avoid being beaten
when the tension is released of the fibers of the wood.
18. Do not cut in bad weather with poor visibility or extreme temperatures. Make sure there
aren't dead branches that could fall.
19. Keep handles dry, clean and free of fuel mixture.
20. Use the product in places with adequate ventilation. Never start the engine in an enclosed
area or inside a building. The escape gases contain carbon monoxide, which is a very
dangerous substance.
21. Never try to cut down a tree using the product if you are not properly trained for this kind of
task.
22. Protect you sufficient against the declining of the product. Recoil is an upward movement
which occurs when the end of the guide bar contacts with an object. This can cause you to
lose the control of the product, which is extremely dangerous.
23. When transporting the product make sure that the guide bar is properly set.
24. Do not touch the cover, the guide bar, the chain or the nuts with bare hands while the
engine is running or immediately after shuting down the engine. Otherwise, serious burns
can be caused due to high temperature.
