Periodic checks

This machine should be inspected in accordance with local and na-
tional safety regulations after every 2000 operating hours, or every
12 months by a Miele approved service technician.
Maintenance covers the following points and functional checks:
- Electrical safety check compliant with national rules and regulations
(e.g. VDE 0701, VDE 0702 in Germany)
- Door mechanism and door seal
- Any screw connections and connectors inside the wash cabinet
- Water inlet and drainage
- Internal and external dispensing systems
- Spray arms
- Filter combination
- Sump including drain pump and drain valve
- Wash mechanism/wash pressure
- All mobile units, modules and inserts (charged separately)
- Visual inspection and functional check of components
- A thermo-electric check
- Seals will be tested for water tightness
- Safety testing of all relevant measuring systems
- Safety features
and where applicable:
- Steam condenser
- Drying unit
- Conductivity monitoring
- Built-in printer
External documentation software and the computer network will
not be tested by the Miele Customer Service Department.
