Definition of terms

In these operating instructions, the laboratory washer is referred to as
"the machine".
The term "load items" is used wherever the items to be processed are
not defined in any further detail.
The term "wash water" is used for the mixture of water and process
chemicals.
All media dispensed during a programme sequence are generally re-
ferred to as process chemicals, e.g. cleaning agents.
