The machine is started by pushing the start button (C) (see Fig.2). And it will continue to run until the saw arm is in the down position at the end of the cut, or when the stop button (B) is pushed.

The main cause of tooth failure is excessive heat build-up. This is the reason that cutting fluid is necessary for long blade life and high cutting rates.
