5.3. Instructions for troubleshooting

Problem
Hoist doesn´t run
(OUT OF SERVICE RED LIGHT ON)
Hoist moves doing abnormal noise or it
doesn´t smoothly
Hoist slides when charging loads
Electrical motors starts very slowly
Hoist doesn´t stop in upper /lower limits, or
on landing floors
Hoist doesn´t stops on 2m switch / cam
E2 or E3 shut down
E4 shut down
Hoist stops suddenly
Hoist cage vibrates abnormally
Hoist slides down
Gearmotor sounds / vibrates abnorm.
Hoist suffer stops when moving
Hoist can´t raise rated load
Hoist doesn´t raise / descent
Hoist doesn´t memorice floors

CHECK IF HOIST IS CONNECTED TO A POWER SUPPLY EQUIPED WITH
DIFFERENTIAL PROTECTION 300mA.

Solution
• Check safety systems:
- Emergency stop (SE)
- Safety microswitch FCSeg.
• Check frequency inverter
• Rearm E3
• Change supply phase connection
• Check guide rollers and bearings.
Change if required.
• Apply grease to the rack
• Sustituir /regular el freno del motor
• Remove overload
• Check / Replace electrical brake
• Check load on the cage
• Check electrical voltage
• Check landing level cams installation
• Check inductive sensor function
• Check 2 m. microswitch and cam
• Check / Repace transformer
• Check / Repace rectifier
• Check load on the cage
• Check electrical connection
• Check landing doors and cage doors
• Check guide rollers adjustment

• Lubricate rack and pinion
