PAUSE button | |
To pause momentarily during the recording or playback mode to
eliminate undesired portions, depress and lock the PAUSE
button. To restart, depress the button again.
This button is also used for proper timing of the recording. For
instantaneous recording, depress and lock the PAUSE button first
and then lock the RECORD and p buttons.
At the moment when you wish to record, depress the PAUSE
button again. Recording will begin immediately.
@ When you must pause for an extended time, use the M button.
@The PAUSE button does not work in fast forward and rewind
mode.
To use with Remote Control RM-15
With the Sony Remote Control RM-15 (optional), you can stop
the tape motion at any time during the record or playback mode
without releasing the locked buttons.
Insert the plug of the RM-15 into the REMOTE jack. To stop
the tape, slide the switch downward. To restart, slide it upward.
Tape motion in the record or playback mode can also be con-
trolled by using the Sony Foot Switch FS-6 (optional).
