Getting started

The Mitel MiVoice 6940 IP phone must be set up and be configured by the System Administrator prior to
its first use.

UI overview

Navigation

UI navigation is performed using the LCD touchscreen:
Press and hold a programmable key to configure the programmable key (see
programmable keys"
Swipe left and right in the programmable key area to switch programmable key pages.
Swipe up and down in the various settings menus as well as the Contacts and Call
History applications to scroll through the respective list of values, contacts, and entries.
Tap an item on screen to select the item or perform an action.

Home screen

When the phone has successfully booted up and connected to the network, the phone displays
the Home screen. The Home screen shows the date and time along with your number and last dialed
number. It is the default screen displayed when the phone is in an idle state.
