FIELD LEVEL TEST MODES AND PROCEDURES: Power-Up Test

Power-Up Test

Use this test to check power-up. Symptoms: dead battery, short battery life, unit does not power up.
Try to power up
the unit.
Pass
Verify
that the
display pixels
light up.
Pass
Check
the battery-level
meter for 3 bars on the
unit's display.
Pass
Unit
passed test.

Swap the Display
module and the Main
Fail
board one at a time in
that sequence until the
display lights up.
Replace the
Fail
battery.
Check
the battery-level
meter for 3 bars on the
unit's display.
Pass
Fail
Send in
for Repair.
