Placement
Avoid placing the unit in areas of:
•direct sunlight
•high temperature
•high humidity
•excessive vibration
•uneven surfaces (Place the unit on a flat
level surface.)
Such conditions might damage the cabinet
and/or other component parts and thereby
shorten the unit's service life.
Ventilation
Place the unit in a well ventilated position at
least 10 cm away from wall surfaces etc.
Foreign materials
• Ensure that no foreign objects, such as
needles, coins, screwdrivers etc, acciden¬
tally fall into the unit.
Otherwise, a serious electric shock or mal¬
function could occur.
•Be extremely careful about spilling water or
liquid on/into the unit, as a fire or electric
shock could occur.
(Disconnect the power plug and contact
your dealer immediately if this occurs.)
•Avoid spraying insecticides onto the unit as
they contain flammable gases which can
be ignited.
•Insecticides, alcohol, paint thinner and
similar chemicals should never be used to
clean the unit as they can cause flaking or
cloudiness to the cabinet finish.

Voltage

•Avoid cuts, scratches or poor connection of

•Do not pull on the lead when you are dis¬
connecting the power, as this could cause
an electric shock. Grasp the plug firmly
when you disconnect the mains.
•Never touch the plug with wet hands or a
serious electric shock could result.
Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scour¬
ing powder or solvent such as alcohol or
benzine.
Service
•Never attempt to repair, disassemble or
reconstruct the unit if there seems to be a
problem.
A serious electric shock could result if you
ignore this precautionary measure.
• If a problem occurs during operation (the
sound is interrupted, indicators fail to
illuminate, smoke is detected, etc.) contact
your dealer or Authorised Service Center
immediately.
•Disconnect the mains if the unit will not be
used for a long time. Otherwise the opera¬
tion life could be shortened.
Ubicacion
Evitar colocar el aparato en lugares donde:
•los rayos de sol incidan directamente
•la temperatura sea alta
•haya demasiada humedad
•hayan muchas vibraciones
•la superficie sea despareja
(Colocar el aparato sobre una superficie
nivelada.)
Estas condiciones pueden dariar el exterior

la vida util del mismo.
Ventilacidn
Colocar el aparato en un lugar ventilado a
por lo memos 10 cms de la pared, etc.
Apilado
No se deben colocar objetos pesados sobre
el aparato o el cable de alimentacidn.
Voltaje
•Es muy peligroso usar una fuente de
alimentacidn de CA de aito voltaje como la
de un acondicionador de aire, De lo con-
trario se podrfa originar un incendio.
•No se puede usar una fuente de alimenta-
ciPn de CC.
Se debe asegurar de verificar cuidadosa-
mente el tipo de fuente de alimentacidn
especialmente si se instala en una embar-
cacidn o en otro lugar donde se usa CC.
Proteccion del cable de
alimentacion
•Evitar que el cable de alimentacidn de CA
se rompa, code o quede mal conectado,
pues esto puede resultar en incendios o
golpes e!6ctricos.
Tambten se debe evitar torcer, tirar o
cortar el cable.
•No tirar del cable cuando est£ conectado
al tomacorriente, pues se puede recibir un
golpe de elSctrico. Para desconectar el
cable de alimentacidn tomarlo firmemente
por el enchufe.
•Nunca tocar el enchufe con las manos
mojadas o se recibir^ un golpe elbctrico.
