    INTRODUZIONE Scopo di questa pubblicazione è quello di fornire al proprietario e all’operatore istruzioni efficaci e sicure sul corretto uso e la manutenzione dello smontagomme. Se tali istruzioni verranno attentamente seguite, la macchina risponderà alle caratteristiche di efficienza e durata contribuendo a facilitare notevolmente il Vostro lavoro. Di seguito si riportano le definizioni per l’identificazione dei livelli di pericolo, con le rispettive diciture di segnalazione utilizzate nel presente manuale: PERICOLO :...

    TRASPORTO, STOCCAGGIO E MOVIMENTAZIONE CONDIZIONI DI TRASPORTO DELLA MACCHINA Lo smonta gomme deve essere trasportato nel suo imballo originale e mantenuto nella posizione indicata sull’imballo stesso. Nel caso di macchina non imballata osservare le seguenti avvertenze: - Proteggere gli spigoli vivi alle estremità con materiale idoneo. - Non utilizzare funi metalliche per il sollevamento.

    DISIMBALLO - MONTAGGIO ATTENZIONE : Eseguire con attenzione le operazioni di sballatura, montaggio, sollevamento e installazione di seguito descritte. Conservare gli imballi originali, in luogo sicuro, per eventuali trasporti futuri. L’inosservanza di tali raccomandazioni può provocare danneggiamenti alla macchina e pregiudicare la sicurezza dell’operatore. Liberare la macchina dalla parte superiore dell’imballo.

  • Page 6: Sollevamento/Movimentazione

    SOLLEVAMENTO-MOVIMENTAZIONE Per la rimozione della macchina dal pallet seguire le seguenti indicazioni: Svitare le viti di fissaggio dei piedi macchina. Inclinare lateralmente lo smontagomme il minimo indispensabile ed infilare le forche del muletto tra il pallet e la macchina fino alla fuoriuscita delle stesse. Tale punto di sollevamento deve essere utilizzato ogni volta che si intenda variare luogo di installazione della macchina stessa.

    ALLACCIAMENTO ELETTRICO E PNEUMATICO ATTENZIONE Tutte le operazioni per l’allacciamento elettrico della macchina alla rete di alimentazione devono essere effettuate da personale professionalmente qualificato. Prima di procedere all’allacciamento pneumatico verificare che la macchina sia nella configurazione indicata in fig. 4 : Pedali 3 e 4 tutto in basso, palo orizzontale tutto in avanti.

    L’uso dello smontagomme si divide i 4 azioni principali: Stallonatura Smontaggio Montaggio Gonfiaggio STALLONATURA PNEUMATICA Chiudere completamente le griffe dell’autocentrante agendo sul pedale 5 fig. 7 Toglere tutti i pesi di bilancia tura dal cerchione. Sgonfiare completamente il pneumatico togliendo la valvola. Posizionare la ruota come indicato in fig.

    Bloccaggio ruota Controllare che non siano rimasti pesi di equilibratura sul cerchione ed eventualmente rimuoverli. Lubrificare con cura il pneumatico lungo tutta la circonferenza del tallone inferiore e superiore per agevolare lo smontaggio ed evitare danni ai talloni fig. 12 Ruotare il palo.
  • Page 17 Smontaggio Posizionare il pressore 19 fig. 7, e mediante l’apposito comando 22 fig. 8 premere sul bordo del pneumatico per creare lo spazio necessario per il corretto funzionamento del gancio estrattore fig.16. Azionare il comando 21 fig. 7 per far scendere in posizione di lavoro il gancio estrattore fig. 17. Spostare il pressore 19 fig.7 mediante l’apposito comando 22 fig.8.

    MONTAGGIO AVVERTENZA : Verificare sempre il giusto accoppiamento copertura/cerchio in termini di compatibilità (copertura tubeless su cerchio tubeless, copertura tube type su cerchio tube type) e di dimensioni geometriche (diametro di calettamento, larghezza di sezione, off-set e tipo di profilo della balconata) prima del loro assemblaggio. Verificare inoltre che i cerchi non abbiano subito deformazioni, non presentino i fori di fissaggio ovalizzati, incrostati o arrugginiti e non vi siano bave taglienti sul foro della valvola.
  • Page 19 MONTAGGIO Posizionamento del tallone superiore fig.25 : Posizionare il tallone superiore del pneumatico. Fare attenzione che il pneumatico non scivoli sotto l’utensile. Avvicinare il pressore 19 fig.7 al bordo del cerchione e con il medesimo premere, mediante il comando 22 fig.8, il fianco del pneumatico fino a livello del canale del cerchio. Montaggio del tallone superiore : Avviare la rotazione mediante il pedale 1 per montare il tallone.

    GONFIAGGIO ATTENZIONE : L’operazione di gonfiaggio è un’azione notoriamente pericolosa. Tale operazione deve essere eseguita secondo le indicazioni sotto riportate. Si raccomanda l’uso di occhiali di sicurezza otticamente neutri e calzature di sicurezza. AVVERTENZA : In questa fase di lavoro si possono presentare livelli di rumore valutati a 85 dB(A).

    ATTENZIONE : La FASEP declina ogni responsabilità in caso di reclami derivati dall’uso di ricambi o accessori non originali. AVVERTENZA : Non è ammesso alcun tipo di intervento mirato alla variazione del valore di taratura della pressione di funzionamento delle valvole di massima o del limitatore di pressione.
  • Page 22 MANUTENZIONE Il filtro regolatore + lubrificatore è dotato di un dispositivo semiautomatico di spurgo dell’acqua di condensa. Tale dispositivo entra in funzione, automaticamente, ogni qualvolta s’interrompe l’alimentazione pneumatica alla macchina. Eseguire lo spurgo manuale fig. 27 quando il livello della condensa oltrepassa il livello L in fig. 27 Pulire settimanalmente il piano superiore dell’autocentrante.

    INFORMAZIONI AMBIENTALI La seguente procedura di smaltimento deve essere applicata esclusivamente alle macchine in cui la targhetta dati macchina riporta il simbolo del bidone barrato. Questo prodotto può contenere sostanze che possono essere dannose per l’ambiente e per la salute umana se non viene smaltito in modo opportuno. Vi forniamo pertanto le seguenti informazioni per evitare il rilascio di queste sostanze e per migliorare l’uso delle risorse naturali.

    Precauzioni nell’impiego dell’olio : Evitare il contatto con la pelle. Evitare la formazione o la diffusione di nebbie d’olio nell’atmosfere. Adottare quindi le seguenti precauzioni igieniche : Evitare gli schizzi (indumenti appropriati, schermi protettivi sulle macchine) Lavarsi frequentemente con acqua e sapone, non utilizzare prodotti irritanti o solventi che a- sportano il rivestimento sebaceo della pelle.

    RICERCA GUASTI ATTENZIONE : In caso di guasto imprevisto, isolare elettricamente l’apparecchio tramite di- sconnessione annipolare spina-presa. AUTOCENTRANTE NON GIRA : Spina di alimentazione non collegata o difettosa: - Controllare la spina. Non arriva corrente elettrica alla macchina: - Ripristinare il collegamento elettrico. Invertitore difettoso: - Sostituire invertitore, rivolgendosi a personale qualificato.

    INTRODUCTION The purpose of this manual is to furnish the owner and operator with a set of practical, safe instruc- tions on the use and maintenance of the tyre changer. Follow all the instructions carefully and the machine will give you the efficient and long-lasting servi- ce, making your work considerably easier.

    TRANSPORT, STORAGE AND HANDLING CONDITIONS FOR TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE The tire changer must be transported in its original packing and stowed in the position shown on the external packing. In case of unpacked machine, please follow these instructions: - protect the edges with suitable material; - Do not use metal wire ropes for machine hoisting.

    UNPACKING-ASSEMBLY WARNING : Take utmost care when unpacking, assembling, hoisting and installing the machine as described in this heading. Keep the original packing in good conditions to be used if the equipment has to be shipped in the future. Failure to comply with these instruction may damage the machine and risk the operator’s safety.

    HOISTING / HANDLING To remove the machine from the pallet, follow the following instructions: Unscrew the fixing screws on machine feet. Lift the machine sideways enough to insert the forks of the fork-lift truck between the machine and the pallet . This hoisting point must be used whenever you need to change the installation position of the ma- chine.

    ELECTRICAL AND PNEUMATIC CONNECTIONS WARNING All operations required for the electrical connections of the equipment must be carried out exclusively by a qualified electrician. Before connecting for air supply system, make sure the machine is set up as in fig. 4: Pedal 3 and 4 totally downwards, column forward.

    The tire changer use is composed by 4 main operations: Bead Breaking Smontage Montage Tire inflating PNEUMATIC BEAD BREAKING Fully close the turntable clamps acting on pedal 5 fig. 7 Remove the weights on the rim. Fully deflate the tire, removing the valve. Place the wheel as shown in fig.

    Wheel clamping Check if there any weights left on the rim; if so, remove them. Thoroughly lubricate the sides of the tire around the entire circumference of the lower and upper bead to facilitate the demounting and avoid damaging the beads fig. 12 Twist the tower.

    MONTAGE CAUTION : Always check that the tire/rim combination is correct in terms of compatibility (tubeless tire on tubeless rim; tube type tire on tube type rim) and geometrical size (keying diameter, cross-section width, Off-set and shoulder profile) before mounting. Also check that rims are not deformed, that their fixing holes have not become oval, that they are not scaled or rusty and that they do not have sharp burrs on the valve holes.
  • Page 44 MONTAGE Upper bead mounting fig.25 : Place the upper tire bead. Take care that the tire does not slip underneath the tool. Let the pressing arm 19 fig.7 close to the rim edge and press the tyre shoulder up to the rim hump, through the control 22 fig.

    INFLATING WARNING : The inflating operation is well known to be dangerous. It must be carried out in accordance with the instructions below. Safety gog- gles with plain lenses and safety footwear must be worn. CAUTION : During this operation, noise levels assessed at 85 dB(A) may occur. Operators are advised to wear hearing protection devices.

    WARNING : FASEP declines all liability for claims deriving from the use of non-original spare parts or accessories. CAUTION : Any operation intended to modify the setting value of the relief valves or pres- sure limiter is forbidden .
  • Page 47 MAINTENANCE The filter + regulator + lubricator is equipped with a semiautomatic condensation drain device. This device operates whenever the compressed air supply to the machine is cut off. Drain the condensation manually fig. 27 when the level exceeds the mark L , fig. 27. Clean the top plate of the turntable every week: remove any accumulated dirt and clean with environmentally-friendly sol- vents.

    ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION The following disposal procedure shall be exclusive applied to the machine having the crossed-out bin symbol on their plate. This product may contain substances that can be hazardous to the environment or to human health if it is not disposed of properly. We therefore provide you with the following information to prevent releases of these substances and to improve the use of natural resources.

    Precautions for the use of oil: Avoid contact with the skin. Do not allow oil mists to form or spread in the atmosphere. Observe the following elementary health precautions: Protect against oil splashes (appropriate clothing, protective guards on machines) Wash frequently with soap and water; do not use cleaners or solvents that can irritate your skin or remove its natural protective oil.
