Removing and Replacing the Secure Card/Multimedia Card (SD/MMC) PCB

To Remove the
1.
Follow the procedures to remove the:
Battery door (page 16)
Battery (page 17)
USIM Card (page 19)
Front Housing (page 20)
PCH (page 23)
Transceiver board (page 26)
2.
Use the disassembly tool to lift one edge of the SD/MMC PCB out of the rear
housing as shown in Figure 15.
3.
Lift the SD/MMC PCB up and out of the rear housing.

To Replace the SD/MMC PCB
1.
Align the SD/MMC PCB to the rear housing.
2.
Carefully lower the bottom end of the SD/MMC PCB into place in the rear
housing followed by the top edge of the PCB until the board is seated properly
in position.
3.
Follow the procedures to replace the transceiver board, PCH, front housing,
USIM card, battery, and rear housing cover.
