PACKAGED MACHINE
HANDLING
The machine comes packaged on a pallet.
The weight and dimensions are given in the TECHNICAL DATA.
The forks of the truck or the transpallet must be positioned so that the centre of
the package is approximately at the centre of the forks themselves. The package
must be handled with extreme care, avoiding impacts and lifting it to conside-
rable heights. Stacking the packages is prohibited.
Instructions for machine unpackaging
The machine must be unpackaged
ving the brackets on the wheels. At this point, the machine must
be brought to ground level by means of a metal or wooden ramp.
Unpackaged machine handling
The unpacked machine must be checked and the batteries must be assembled
if not already installed.
Should it need to be handled after use for short distance transportation, discon-
nect the battery cables, remove the brushes and squeegee.
Make sure the electric brake on front drive wheel is unlocked by using the release
key.
For very long distance transportation, it is a good idea to repackage the machine
in the original box on a pallet. Please note that the machine can be pushed to
move it short stretches.
Lifting the machine
For lifting, the operation must be done with approved equipment with suitable
capacity.
Transporting the machine
Whenever the machine has to be transported, it is IMPORTANT to:
1. Verify that the solution tanks (clean water) and recovery tanks (dirty wa-
ter) are empty.
2. Lift the brushes and the squeegee.
3. Ensure the electric brake of the scrubber-drier is engaged.
4. Secure the machine to the transport vehicle using special straps.
5. Remove the brushes.
6. Disassemble the squeegee.
7. Disconnect the battery.
8. Cover the machine in the event of an uncovered transport vehicle.

When loading the machine onto a vehicle using ramps, pay attention to
the SLOPE and the CRITICAL point, as shown in the following fi gure:

DESPLAZAMIENTO DE LA MÁQUINA
EMBALADA
La máquina se recibe embalada sobre palet.
El peso y las dimensiones se indican en las CARACTERÍSTICAS TÉCNICAS.
Las horquillas de la carretilla y de la transpaleta deben estar colocadas de forma
que el centro del embalaje se encuentre aproximadamente en el centro de las
mismas horquillas. El embalaje debe desplazarse con mucho cuidado evitando
provocarle golpes o elevarlo demasiado. Se prohíbe superponer los embalajes.
Indicaciones para desembalar la máquina
La máquina debe desembalarse con cuidado y delicadamente quitando las
cuñas de las ruedas. Ahora la máquina debe bajarse al suelo mediante una ram-
pa metálica o de madera.
Desplazamiento de la máquina desembalada
La máquina desembalada debe controlarse y deben montarse las baterías si no
están instaladas todavía.
En caso de que deba desplazarse después de usarla durante un breve período de
tiempo, desconecte los cables de las baterías, quite los cepillos y el limpiasuelos.
Compruebe que el freno eléctrico el la rueda delantera esté desbloqueado me-
diante el uso de llave específi ca de desbloqueo.
Para transportar a larga distancia es conveniente embalar de nuevo la máquina
en la caja original sobre el palet. Cabe señalar que puede desplazarse la máquina
empujándola en recorridos breves.
Elevación de la máquina
Para elevar la máquina esta operación debe hacerse con medios homologados y
con la capacidad adecuada.
Transporte de la máquina
En caso de que la máquina deba ser transportada es IMPORTANTE:
1. Comprobar que los depósitos con solución (agua limpia) y recuperación
(agua sucia) estén vacíos.
2. Subir los cepillos y el limpiasuelos.
3. Comprobar que se haya bloqueado el freno eléctrico de la fregadora.
4. Fijar la máquina al medio de transporte con las correas.
5. Quitar los cepillos.
6. Desmontar la escobilla de goma.
7. Desconectar la batería.
8. Cubrir la máquina en caso de medio de transporte abierto.

¡Atención!
En caso de cargar la máquina en un vehículo de transporte usando ram-
pas, tenga cuidado con la INCLINACIÓN y con el punto CRÍTICO como se
indica en la fi gura siguiente:
