Disconnect the unit from its power source, then remove the power cord from the unit. Locate the fuse
holder under the power connection, then use a phillips head screw-driver to remove the fuse holder.
Remove the fuse located inside the fuse holder and replace with the new fuse. Reinstall the fuse
holder, making sure it has been inserted securely into place.
T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G
Listed below are a few common problems the user may encounter, with potential solutions.
Unit not responding to DMX:
Check that the DMX cables are connected are wired correctly (pin 3 is "hot"; on some other DMX
devices pin 2 may be "hot"). Also, check that all cables are connected to the right connectors, as the
order in which the inputs and outputs are connected can affect the unit's operation.
Unit does not respond to sound:
•
Quiet or high pitched sounds will not activate the unit.
•
Make sure that Sound Active mode is activated.
C L E A N I N G
Due to fog residue, smoke, and dust, cleaning the internal and external optical lenses must be carried
out periodically to optimize light output.
•
Use normal glass cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe down the outside casing and external optics.
•
Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit back in.
