Cooking zones and sensors

The hob has two small and two large cooking
zones which are controlled by sensors.
The sensors must be clean and may not be
covered by objects.
Always activate the sensors with your
entire fi ngertip; not just the very end of
the fi nger. Your fi nger and the sensors must
be clean and dry for the sensors to function
properly.
Each time the sensor registers a touch, you
will hear an acoustic signal.

Pot recognition

A pot recognition function is installed in each
cooking zone. Pot recognition ensures that
the cooking zones will be activated only if
there is a pot with a ferromagnetic base or
another object made of the same kind of met-
al located there. The cooking zone becomes
inactive as soon as the pot or the magnetic
object is removed.
