2 . 2 S A F E T Y I N S T R U C T I O N S
Please follow all instructions in this manual carefully. Incorrect operation
can impair important functions. All safety instructions and other
regulations must be observed at all times by both the patient and the
accompanying / supervising person.
Before using the upright stander for the first time, make sure that all
possible adjustments have been made correctly and that all parts are
securely fastened.
Check all adjustments at regular intervals. Regularly tighten screws
with all adjustable parts. Pay particular attention to adjustment
possibilities with two clamping connections, tighten screws if
necessary.
Combinations of the standing system with third-party products of
any kind can be dangerous. Rehatec® GmbH accepts no liability for
damage and/or complications resulting from such combinations.
Never leave the patient unattended! Depending on the medical
condition and weight, 1-2 helpers are needed to lift the user into the
standing system.
The standing system may only be used by a single person. Make
sure that the patient is sufficiently secured / fixed against falling out
without limiting comfort.
The appliance may only be installed, operated, repaired and
maintained by qualified personnel authorised and trained by the
manufacturer.
The max. load must not be exceeded. (See chapter „Technical data").
The device must not be used if defective. The device must not be
operated and used if it has defects that could endanger and/or injure
patients, employees of the care provider or third parties.
The appliance may only be installed, operated, used and maintained
in accordance with its intended use.
Repair and adjustment work requires special technical training and
must be carried out by Rehatec® GmbH and authorised, qualified and
trained specialist dealers only.
